Blogroll

I read these every day! Well, at least very frequently. I'll add more as I explore the blogowilds and meet the natives. You won't find dead links or weaksauce never-updated sites here.

Pat Rothfuss's blog

I'm fascinated by authors as much as by their books. Pat's blog is like some supple, transparent face; it's incredibly expressive and shows off the super-cooled coils of his mind. And he's funny too, haha funny.

A Dribble of Ink

Aidan's review blog is so clean. I feel all refreshed and minty every time I go there. Besides posting frank and thoughtful reviews, he's into cover art—like me—and shows them nice and big.

Pat's Fantasy Hotlist

I go here for the super latest in fantasy. The Hotlist is primo current content, baby. Pat has lots of exclusives and first-peeks.

Brandon Sanderson's blog

Brandon's blog—entire website, really—makes me love the internet. He generously shares all the behind-the-scenes

publishing stuff that were hidden before from wannabe writers like yours truly. His success story motivates me all the more to keep trucking.

The Wertzone

The Wertzone has a certain heft to it; there's this scholarly tone and pace about the place. Rigorous, that's the word. I would read a book and then read Adam's review.

Michael Sullivan's blog

Another author who's generous with information about the process of being a fantasy author. It's also pretty exciting times as we're right smack in the middle of his series's publication schedule at the time of this post and I get to see the flurry of related writing/publication/review activity.

Stomping on Yeti

First off, as I am a staunch yeti-rights advocate, his blog's title offends me to no end. Under all that fur, they're people damn it. Morals aside, Patrick does have pretty good reviews. I

particularly like how he opens his reviews with a summary of the good, the bad, and a "30 Words or Less" gist, which I've shamefully stolen in the form of my little blue side text things.
